The Plate and Tube membrane in wastewater filtration process incorporates Plate and Tube Reverse Osmosis technology. It is specially designed for difficult and high concentration wastewater treatment with exceptional stability and high performance. The anatomy of PTRO membrane makes the wastewater treatment highly efficient with its plate and frame structure.
The module with multiple circular membrane cushions within the structure of ABS plastic plates forms a sandwich with a permeate carrier passage for the purified water. The feed flows over each subsequent membrane cushion contained within the hydraulic plate structure and exits the last chamber as concentrate. The purified water or permeate is collected from each membrane cushion. Hence there are two final outlets from each individual module – one is recyclable permeate and the other being RO reject or the concentrate.
